We are working to change culture and challenge the policies and practices of local organisations that keep or push people into poverty.
We are committed to working with local councils, schools, landlords and businesses, alongside people with lived experience of poverty, making them central to decisions about how to tackle it.
We refuse to accept that poverty is just a sad reality. Leading our community towards a poverty-free future is about creating hope that change is possible and refusing to succumb to the belief that poverty will always exist.

It’s not just one issue, it’s not just about not having enough food or not having enough money for your heating or your electric. It’s a combination of so many different things and its really hard once you’ve stumbled across once of those things it just escalates and spirals.
I think it's really important that we continue to enable people to have a voice, to feel that they can have a say in situations that affect them.
