What is the vision of your business?
We aim to continue growing as a business but in an ethical way that benefits our team, our clients and the community we live in.
Why did you sign the pledge?
Our projects with non-profits and charities doing amazing work throughout the community, such as Good Company, has fully opened our eyes to the extent of poverty on our doorstep. It has been a valuable reminder that we are all part of a community and if we run a business then we have extra responsibility to that community to operate in a way that contributes towards attempts to end poverty.
What are you doing differently as a result of signing the pledge?
We ensure all aspects of projects are clear and there are never hidden costs.
We ensure that suppliers and collaborators are paid in a timely manner and they are receiving fair pay for their valuable contributions.
We give thought to the needs and requirements of clients especially those who are individuals or small business.
We support Good Company with their website development to ensure that their website engages and informs visitors, but also effectively organises and signposts to the various support services provided, including the Refugee Network, Poverty Truth Commission and Epsom and Banstead Pantries.
We supported Good Company with the End Poverty in Surrey campaign through consultancy, design and development.
What more would you like to do in the future?
We want to continue our work with more non-profit organisations so we can bring our expertise in this area to other teams who are working hard to improve life for those in need.
We will continue to support Good Company with their design and development needs.
We will inform other partners and organisations we work with about the End Poverty Pledge and encourage them to sign up and do what they can to support those in financial hardship in the local community.
